Over the years, SNBEI EX has been involved in many hazardous explosion protection applications across a wide range of different industries. Drawing on our extensive project experience, it covers some of the knowledge we have learned and identifies some key factors to consider when specifying lighting fixtures for specific environments.
Petroleum chemical industry
Petrochemical enterprises have been rapidly expanded, the level of labor protection technology has been improved accordingly. Petrochemical industry is technology intensive, capital intensive continuous large-scale production, is prone to fire explosion accident enterprises, safety production is particularly important.

Harbors and docks
Ports and terminals are used to handle and store increasing volumes of crude oil, liquefied natural gas and bulk grain, all of which increase the need for lighting hazardous areas on site. The nature of the port application and its coastal location provide a challenging environment when specifying lighting.

Offshore platform
The nature of offshore platforms provides a challenging environment when assigning lighting. In the event of a hazard, dangerous explosive gases may appear or accumulate in the relevant area of the platform. When this gas reaches the explosive concentration range, it will explode upon encountering an open fire, and considering continuous exposure to Marine conditions such as high wind speeds and saltwater environments, high-quality and durable lamps that can withstand these factors are critical.

Coal mining industry
Coal mine is suitable for coal mine industry with methane, coal dust and other explosive mixture of gas dangerous environment; The mine explosion-proof lamp developed by Tongming electric appliance is suitable for fixed flood lighting in underground roadway and chamber of coal mine; It is suitable for fixed flood lighting in underground coal mine, substation, parking lot, pump room and other places.

Pharmaceutical manufacturing
Pharmaceutical manufacturing may not be one of the first industries that comes to mind when thinking about typical uses of hazardous zone equipment, but in reality, much of modern pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities are classified as hazardous zones and therefore require Ex lighting.
